SHIMA SEIKI’s benchmark in intarsia knit production MACH2®SIR® has been renewed. As the name suggests, N.MACH2®SIR® offers exceptional speed and efficiency. Maximum knitting speed is 1.4 meters per second. The R2CARRIAGE® System achieves quicker carriage returns after each course. With a new lighter, more compact carriage productivity is improved even further. Intarsia knitting is performed with up to 40 intarsia carriers. In addition, as part of the latest generation of SHIMA SEIKI knitting machines, N.MACH2®SIR® carries over all the technological achievements for which SHIMA SEIKI is made famous: DSCS® Digital Stitch Control System; spring-loaded moveable sinker system; stitch presser; yarn gripper and cutter; takedown system; and more. The Specialty Machine for Ideal Coarse Gauge Knitting.
Over the years SHIMA SEIKI has supplied the world’s knitting industry with specialized technology ideally suited to each application. Continuing that tradition is SCG®122SN available in 3 and 4 gauges. In addition to such priorities as speed, efficiency and consistent quality, market demand reveals that the computerization of traditionally hand-knitted low-gauge knitwear must place additional emphasis on fabric texture and feel. Incorporating SHIMA SEIKI’s unique SlideNeedle™ the SCG®122SN 3 gauge can produce knitwear with robust, hand-crafted texture as low as 2 gauge. Optional Digital Stitch Control System with Intelligence and Dynamic Tension Control (i-DSCS + DTC®) assures extremely high quality and consistency even with difficult-toknit fancy yarns. Furthermore a double racking mechanism provides better racking control in both directions for realizing bold and interesting designs while reducing total racking movement by half. For all this capability, productivity does not suffer, with higher knitting efficiency achieved through a narrower needle pitch and quicker carriage returns using the Rapid Response R2CARRIAGE® system. The flagship MACH2XS WHOLEGARMENT® specialty machine features 4 needle beds and SHIMA SEIKI’s original SlideNeedle™, the combination of which is considered ideal for producing WHOLEGARMENT® knitwear in all needles. MACH2XS furthermore features the world’s first application of SHIMA SEIKI’s patented spring-type sinkers on a 4-needlebed machine, permitting high quality knitting of complex fabrics such as dimensional structures. Flechage is especially easier to knit, expanding the capable range of knits. MACH2XS achieves a maximum knitting speed of 1.6 meters per second. The N.SVRR® series-SHIMA SEIKI’s global standard in shaped knitting- now features a new model for producing WHOLEGARMENTR® knitwear using every other needle in fine gauge (21G and 24G) for producing unprecedented fabrics. N.SVR® 183 is equipped with the R2CARRIAGE® system and a compact, lightweight carriage for even higher productivity. The new full-color LCD touch-sensitive control panel located in the center of the machine replaces the conventional control bar for machine operation. A USB memory interface is provided as standard. The new “SWG® – N2” series is SHIMA SEIKI’s compact class of WHOLEGARMENT® knitting machines. Featuring our renowned Slide NeedleTM on 10-, 16-, 24- and 36-inch wide needlebeds respectively, SWG® 021N2, SWG® 041N2, SWG® R061N2 and SWG® R091N2 are capable of producing a range of fashion accessories from gloves, socks, hats, mufflers, neck-ties and other small items, as well as childrenswear and even leggings and tank tops, all in their entirety, with no sewing or linking required*. The new SWG®-N2 series features the proven R2CARRIAGE® system for higher productivity. A larger number of yarn carriers and holding hooks for yarn cutting, as well as a separate yarn holder with increased capacity allows for even more flexibility in multi-color knitting. P-Cam 183/223
SHIMA SEIKI P-CAM series multi-ply computerized cutting machines (NC cutting machines), with an already established reputation for their high efficiency, productivity and quality, have been renovated across its entire line, Faster and smoother head movement improves productivity. A low-vibration, low-noise head is adopted to improve the work environment. New function such as a one -touch drill attachment, a more compact Y-beam controller and a switch for moving the conveyor and cutting the vinyl sheet, enhance productivity. Moreover, the optional turbo fan suppresses fluctuation in air pressure for stable multi-ply cutting. Cutting thickness of 1 inch (33mm), 2 inches (55mm) or 3 inches (75mm) can be selected. Especially for 3 inches, increasing Y-beam clearance enables loading of thicker material before suction. A new knife sharpening system produces a sharper, strong blade every time. Stronger more robust component parts permit quicker response times for knife movement and more accurate cutting for thick fabric such as denim. For cutting area of P-CAM183/223, in addition to S and L types (Standard and Large size of cutting bed).
